Birch Snow

While the inspiration was of Aspen trees, my passion for the birch trees in the north woods over-road a literal translation giving me artistic license in the concept.

The colors of fall are trying to hold onto the trees, but the first snowfall softly blankets the leaves and mutes the colors into a quiet landscape.
